Red Cabbage - Juiced

This is easily one of my favorite juices. As long as you pair red cabbage with one fruit, you will lose the bitterness of the cabbage. Once your palate becomes more accustomed to the taste, you will become more adventurous with what you pair it with (or not!):

Ingredients:

1/4 Red Cabbage

1 Beet (use those greens, they are edible!)

1 Gala Apple

1 cup Blueberries

1 Lemon

Lots of Ginger (lots)

I hold back on too many greens with this juice, simply because it can turn your brilliant pink juice....brown. Fun fact: if you add carrots and juice each ingredient one by one, the frothy top turns into a pastel rainbow. I used to call it unicorn juice, but since that sounds annoying to me now, I'll drop that moniker and simply admire the result.
